[KiniNews] Leading up to the start of campaigning for state polls this weekend, former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang have chosen Selangor - Pakatan Harapan's frontline state - as the stage for their second joint appearance.
Speaking as guests at a town hall in i-Central City Shah Alam last night, the duo reminded Malay-Muslims of the importance of their votes to reclaim political power.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Penang DAP leader Satees Muniandy, who was dropped from the state election's candidate line-up announced yesterday, has decried the dangers posed by an "emperor" to the state and its people.
Speaking at a press conference, the incumbent Bagan Dalam assemblyperson also discounted the threat of the "Green Wave" to Penang, saying that it was a term used to scare the people and make the 'emperor' more powerful.
He also claimed that the candidates' line-up was not the one decided by the state party leadership and it was the choice of the said “emperor”.
