[KiniNews] Seputeh DAP Youth chief Joel Jalleh has questioned the authorities on why DAP MP Teresa Kok was the only one being investigated over her remarks on the halal certification issue.
“Why the double standards? Others who have raised and amplified this issue were not called in either,” he said at a press conference outside of the Sri Petaling police station today.
Joel, who was flanked by three other DAP members, said this after lodging a police report against Umno Youth chief Akmal Saleh over his remarks on Kok over the issue.
In a separate story, Selangor PAS Youth secretary Aubidullah Fahim Ibrahim has suggested that PAS Youth leaders should take wives from different races and cultures to get non-Malay votes.
Meanwhile, PAS Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden has urged members of the party's youth wing to start learning vernacular languages to help the party get closer to non-Malay communities.
