An opposition lawmaker today urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to continue "reminding" US President Donald Trump that air strikes by Israeli forces have reportedly continued in Gaza despite a ceasefire deal and promise of a "comprehensive solution".Speaking to reporters in Parliament, Kapar MP Dr Halimah Ali also reiterated that she had, during debates of Budget 2026, prior to Trump's attendance at the 47th Asean Summit, delivered a stern message to end killings of Palestinians by Zionist forces.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he will not be apologetic for signing the Malaysia-US trade agreement as the country needs strong investment and trade with the US.Anwar added that there is also an exit clause, and that the question of handing over the country’s trade sovereignty to the US did not arise.“The issue of ‘surrendering’ does not arise. The same goes for China. If we’re seen as being on good terms, we get attacked, so who are we supposed to be friendly with - Kelantan and Kedah only? We need good ties with all,” he said.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department  Fuziah Salleh told TV Al Hijrah on Wednesday that the White Rabbit candy samples sent to the Chemistry Department contained traces of pig and cow DNA.She said the White Rabbit candy is a product imported from China, and it is not certified halal.She added that she will be informing the health ministry, and state religious authorities, so action can be taken.&nbsp;
